Went for a walk the other day and these colours made me smile.

New project

I bought some chunky yarn last year and I've been wondering what to do with them, until I saw these. Thanks for sending me this Rodrigo! I even have a few old IKEA lampshades lying around that I can knit around - perfect!

I love these little Halloween decorations that have been hung up along the street near my flat. I don't know who organised it but it's such a nice idea.

I can't wait to see the Christmas decorations!

Boris Bike Knit

Someone has knitted seat covers for the newly launched city bikes in London. Apparently there are little messages attached, which say things like:

"Approx 1 million tonnes of textiles are thrown away each year in the UK. Only 1/4 of this is recycled"

"74% of the 2 million tonnes of clothing we buy each year end up in landfills"

Nearly there...

I ran out of black yarn on the last square of this blanket, luckily I managed to get hold of some more (with my parents' help) and I can finally finish the blanket this weekend.
