Yesterday I spent the whole day at the screen printing studio. It was just the best day ever. I love making prints; the smell, the noise, the organisation, the process, the chemistry - all of it! It's nearly as good a remedy as running. I wasn't very prepared and it was raining so heavily that the photocopy of the image I was going to expose, got damaged and I had to go back to the copy shop, which meant I was late and had to settle for the worst of the screen beds. I'm sure that screen bed is made for a giant, it's so difficult to maneuver on my own, I had to hold back a few tantrums but managed to get the hang of it in the end, along with a few bruises. The prints are on sale
here. They feature my favourite street in Luxembourg - Rue du Nord.
Today I'm off to for a swim in the rain, then heading in to town to buy some yarn for some crocheted baskets I might be making for a shop here in the UK - I'll post more about it later. I feel like I'm finally getting back into my lovely routine, which is so great.
