Conceptual Knitting

I love, love, love this knitting pattern. What an amazing idea. I'm tempted to start my own. It would make a lovely anniversary present, and I'd almost be tempted to use it as a wall hanging instead of a scarf. You could have several years hanging next to each other. Or you could make your own pattern mapping something else such as your mood, location/travels etc. Really inspiring. Read more here.

RIP Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs has inspired me in lots of ways, but watching his Speech at Stanford a few years ago, made me realise that I needed to change my life. I left my job and started an adventure, which has been the best thing I ever did!

Workshop Prep

I actually can't believe how busy I've been these last couple of weeks! It feels like I've not stopped. It's good though and very exciting, I just wish there were more hours in the day and more days in the week.

Today I've been preparing for a beginners' crochet workshop I'm teaching tonight at the lovely Danish café in East London. Really looking forward to teaching this one, I found some retro Danish cotton yarn, which we'll be using to make a coaster.
