Cross stitching

I'm working on an order of monogrammed pendants. It's been a while since I embroidered, I almost forgot how much fun it is and I'm enjoying it even more as the order was placed by a special friend.

I'm not completely happy with the alphabet patterns I have, so I'm working out the letters on squared paper first. It's making me want to do some giant cross stitching!

Hope you're all enjoying your Sunday as much as I am.

Us Danes love to talk about the weather...

We've been enjoying the most amazing autumn weather in London. It's almost a bit spring-like, warm and sunny.

Unfortunately it's not the same here in Luxembourg. I arrived last night and woke up to this foggy scenery this morning - pretty to look at (from a warm and cosy living room).

Luxembourg 01

Last week I went to Luxembourg where I taught a couple of knitting and crochet workshops at Café Konrad
It was a busy start to the week, but I really enjoyed it and I can't wait to teach the new workshops at the end of November.

At the end of the week Ben flew over to join me and I got to show him around Luxembourg for the first time. I love showing off my country (well, one of my countries), it's just a stunning place - especially in the autumn when all the leaves are changing colours.

One afternoon we drove up to Esch sur Sure and climbed the 112 steps to enjoy this breathtaking view. It is literally breathtaking for me as I suffer terribly from vertigo, I am mostly in denial about it, so I always think I'll be OK and then get to the top and have to sit down as far away from any edge as possible.

I wasn't too keen on Ben standing this close to the edge either, and even less so when he pretended to climb over the fence. I'm getting back at him now by posting a picture of him though!

Not sure what this big yellow foot was supposed to represent?

Screen Printed Sewing Kits

My latest project combines two things I love, screen printing and crafts.

It's a Christmas Heart sewing kit with the picture pattern as well as the sewing pattern printed onto the fabric. This means that it's really simple to make, you just need to cut out along the dotted line and sew where indicated - everything you need is included in the kit. It's suitable for beginners as well as experienced sewers and even as a project to make with your kids. You can sew them by hand or by using a machine.

I added some cloves to my hearts as it's my favourite Christmas scent, it would also work with lavender or other scented herbs.

They're available from my shop. (I also post outside of Luxembourg, just contact me)
