Ralph

For the last three weeks Ben and I were dog sitting our friend's dog Ralph. We had so much fun, both loved every minute of it. It has definitely confirmed that we would like to get our own dog some day soon.

Ralph is such a little character, he made me laugh all the time. He is the only dog I ever met who doesn't get excited when you get his lead out to take him for a walk. He wants to go for a walk, he just doesn't understand why he shouldn't be allowed to go without the lead! We had to chase him around the living room to get it on him.



I put his blue blanket out on the sofa so he could sleep on it, I thought I was being quite generous letting him stay on the sofa, but Ralph much preferred my blanket, so whenever I wasn't looking he would move onto the tiny bit of the sofa which wasn't covered by his blanket.

At the end of the evening when Ben and I would be cleaning our teeth getting ready for bed, Ralph would get up from the sofa and casually stroll in to the bedroom and get comfy on our bed. Like it was the most natural thing in the world that he would be spending the night there! We're both such softies that we would let him stay there for little bit and then Ben would carry him back on to the sofa when he was asleep. If we get our own dog we definitely need to toughen up a bit!
